Design Smarter: Leveraging GIS, BIM, and Open Data for Better Site Selection & Collaboration
Discover how architecture and planning teams are transforming early-stage design through the integration of GIS, BIM, and open data. In this webinar, Adam Sjödin from Sweco Architects joins Nora Nanov, Esri Product Manager for GIS + BIM, and Marc Goldman, Esri’s Director of AEC Industry Solutions to explore how GIS technology enables architects to work in real-world context from the earliest stages of a project. Together, they’ll showcase real-world examples from Sweco’s projects in Sweden, where municipal open data, Forma, Revit, and web-based GIS come together to enhance site selection, design coordination, and stakeholder collaboration.
Modernize Your Model Homes with Music

What We've Learned from 27M Conversations
In this session, you’ll get a rare, data-backed look into what actually drives results in home building sales conversations. Patrick Johnson from Rilla will unpack insights drawn from over 27 million real-world sales calls, revealing the communication habits, customer cues, and coaching patterns that separate top-performing sales teams from the rest. These aren’t theories — they’re trends built from the words and behaviors of thousands of reps in the field.
You’ll learn how AI-powered conversation analysis is transforming how home builders understand their buyers. From identifying the phrases that build trust to spotting the subtle talk tracks that increase conversion rates, we’ll explore how data can now give leaders a clear picture of what’s happening in every conversation — without needing to listen to every call. Patrick will also share benchmarks across the industry, so you can see where your team stands and where the biggest opportunities lie.
By the end of the webinar, you’ll have a fresh perspective on how to coach smarter, sell faster, and close more confidently using insights hiding in plain sight — your own sales conversations. Plus, you’ll walk away with practical steps to start applying AI in your sales process immediately. See how leading home builders are using Rilla Intelligence to turn everyday conversations into actionable data and measurable growth.
NRMCA’s Concrete Design Center: Tools and Case Studies for Smarter Project Decisions
Explore the capabilities of the NRMCA Concrete Design Center through real-world case studies that demonstrate how it supports project design teams in quantifying the benefits of building with concrete.
This session will highlight two case studies:
1) Learn how the NRMCA Concrete Carbon Calculator was used to estimate the global warming potential (GWP) of mix designs proposed by a producer for an eight-story science center at a major university. By comparing GWP reductions against industry-wide baseline EPDs, the analysis enabled the structural engineer’s sustainability consultant to confirm that the project exceeded the minimum requirements for LEED Materials and Resources credits.
2) Discover how the insulating concrete form (ICF) industry collaborated with NRMCA to provide cost estimates for two school storm shelter projects. With these estimates, the construction manager was able to update project budgets, demonstrating both 45-day construction time savings and a 4.5% cost savings. We will also cover revised construction schedules, cost spreadsheets, and time-lapse video of the actual construction process.
Rising Trends: Home Elevators Add Luxury & Convenience
Add a stand-out feature to the homes you design and build. Home elevators are in increasing demand, thanks to a desire for convenience lifestyles—especially as builders maximize land use with taller, narrower homes—as well as an aging population and a trend toward multi-generation households.
Join Savaria expert David Richter for an overview of home elevator basics, including: Design and application, Technical aspects and safety features, Site requirements and limitations, and Applicable code and regulations.

Specifying Smarter with Copper-Clad Aluminum (CCA) Metal-Clad Cable
The complex demands of today’s design-build projects are evolving — and so are the materials behind them. Copper-Clad Aluminum (CCA) Metal-Clad Cable offers an innovative alternative to solid copper wire — giving building design teams a smarter way to specify responsibly. CCA’s cost stability helps mitigate commodity volatility; its energy efficiency supports LEED building initiatives; and its low scrap value helps reduce theft-related disruptions on the jobsite.
Hear from Dustin Smith, Chief Commercial Officer at Copperweld, as he shares how CCA Metal-Clad Cable is being used in commercial projects across the country — and from Ryan McHugh, CEO of Hi Power Electric, who uses Copperweld CCA Building Wire on every project — including his own home and company headquarters. You’ll get insights from both the manufacturer and a leading electrical contractor — and walk away with practical knowledge about CCA you can apply to future specs.
